Choosing to re-mortgage may mean you are able to secure more favourable rates than your current deal, and there are some mortgage deals with no fees to pay. This could result in significant monthly savings!
You may have to pay an early repayment charge to your existing mortgage provider but most lenders do not impose a penalty for you changing once any tie in period has expired.
